The Process

At Forever Florals Preservation we pride ourselves in creating a unique piece from YOUR wedding bouquet that will be a lifelong keepsake!
We can press all florals, and will work with you on a custom design! We also color-correct/enhance florals that brown/fade significantly in the press ensuring that your piece will be as vibrant as your original flowers! And this helps your piece to keep its color for years to come!

How it works:
1. You purchase the frame in your desired size and color. Be sure to include in the "Personalization" box if you would like the bouquet ribbon, wedding invitation, photo, or fabric to be included in your layout.

**For an average size wedding bouquet a 16x20” frame is the best option to fit the whole bouquet. There are usually leftover florals as well, so feel free to add additional frames!

2. After you purchase your frame(s), click the "How to Ship" tab on the home page. If you are local to Montgomery, Alabama, we can arrange a local drop off!

3. Ship your florals within 72 hours of your event! (I can accept florals 7+ days after the event, so please reach out if your wedding/events has already passed.)

4. Your flowers go into the press for 4-6 weeks. Once fully dried, they are taken out of the press and await their turn to be reassembled and color-corrected for another 4-6 weeks. Around the 10-12 week mark, they are reassembled, color-corrected, and designed! I will then email you design layout options for your florals to choose from and make any desired adjustments! Once you finalize which layout you want to go with, I will glue down your design!

5. Your piece is then framed and shipped back to you! In total expect to receive your finished piece within 3-5 MONTHS from when I receive your bouquet!

COLOR CORRECTION:

I color-correct your florals as necessary for any that lose most of their color or turn brown in the preserving process. Most often this includes white and light pink roses. Color-correcting florals make them look more vibrant than they do when just preserved naturally. I color-correct to match the original color of the flowers as much as possible but there will be a slight variation in the shade. Since some people prefer the look of their flowers natural color after preservation, color correction is not required!

~please indicate in the personalization box if you DO NOT want your flowers color corrected at all~

***PLEASE NOTE***

1. Preserving florals is a natural process, so they may not be as vibrant as when they were alive as they will be once pressed and framed.

2. Preserved florals color will naturally fade overtime, but will still be preserved forever. But the florals that are color corrected will retain their color over time with only minimal to no fading. I do not color correct all florals but only those that turn brown/lose their color during the preserving process. So your piece will have a combination of color-corrected and non-color-corrected florals. This helps the preserved bouquet to look more natural while also bringing back to life faded/brown florals.

3. Bouquet preservation is a slow process, so please be patient with me on completing your piece. And I will provide you a link to the order status spreadsheet when you place your order so you can stay up to date on where your order is in the design queue. Also, I work on reassembling, color correcting, designing, and framing pieces one at a time, as I've found this is the most efficient way to work through orders. So your piece will be in the "waiting" stage for a while. But then, once reassembling begins, everything moves fairly quickly, and your frame is usually finished and shipped home to you within a week! I desire to give each piece the utmost attention and care and do not ever want to rush a piece and compromise its quality, so your patience is greatly appreciated :)

4. You are responsible to ship your bouquet to me and I DO NOT provide a shipping label for this or reimbursement. Shipping Priority Mail Express or Priority Mail can be expensive depending on where you are in the country, ranging from $50-$150 on average, so please plan accordingly. On the USPS website there is a shipping cost estimate tool that’s helpful to use! You will be shipping to Alabama with a 36105 zip code.

5. If you are near Montgomery, Alabama, pickup or drop off is an option and is preferred over shipping. Send a message to me to coordinate details.
